Albany Golf Course is expanding and looking for highly motivated people to join our team. We are looking for bartenders, servers, cooks, and Pro Shop attendants for both the clubhouse and our new Toptracer facility. Experience is a plus but not required, we are willing to train. Experience in multiple roles is also a plus. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver quality customer service in a timely manner. General Job Description:

Responsible for proper operation and handling of the beverage cart to ensure professional, prompt, and friendly food and beverage service to players on the course.
Major Duties/Responsibilities
Must be in clean, neat uniform, and wear visible name tag at all times. Hair past collar length must be restrained.
Provide high quality service and a positive experience to customers
Clock in on time.
Follow proper procedures for bad weather conditions
Adhere to all local and national liquor and tobacco laws
Verify identification and age requirements of customers
Mix and serve drinks following set standard recipes
Greet and serve guests in a timely manner with a positive attitude
Process cash and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures
Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
Assist with inventory and inventory control
Full understanding of restaurant menu and beverage menu
Give menu suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
Other duties as assigned

Minor Duties/Responsibilities:

Knowledge of the point of sale (POS) system to ensure payment is taken and/or tabs are kept.
Must attend employee meetings and all training classes.
Check in with supervisor at end of shift, before leaving the property.
Qualifications for the job:
Minimum of 18 years old to serve alcohol in accordance with Minnesota State law.

Line Cook

Job Status: Part-Time, 20-30-hours/week, hours vary; Full-Time, 35-45 hours/week, hours vary
Starting Wage: $15-$19 per hour

General Job Description:

Line cook will prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards. The cook’s responsibilities include following instructions relating to the timely preparation of food orders, organizing workstations, and assisting other cooks as needed. You should also be able to ensure that the refrigerators and storerooms are kept clean and tidy.
To be successful as a cook, you should be able to use various cooking techniques and methods to prepare meals that meet our customers’ expectations. Ultimately, a top-notch cook should be able to handle multiple food orders, in a timely manner, without compromising on quality.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

Preparing consistent and quality meals for customers on time
Preparing meat, vegetables, garnishes, and other ingredients to be used for cooking
Cooking menu items using various kitchen utensils and cooking methods
Making sure that food items are always fresh before serving
Maintaining a clean kitchen station and work area and making sure the utensils and kitchen equipment are left clean after each use
Working with other kitchen staff to ensure consistent and high-quality food service
Work with the Person in charge to resolve issues related to food orders or customer complaints in a positive manor
Having knowledge about the daily menu and accommodating dietary requests
Arranging, garnishing, and plating dishes to a high standard
Making sure the kitchen is left clean and sanitized after cooking
Keeping regular stock of the pantry and notifying Kitchen Lead on ordering needs
Working in compliance with food safety regulations and processes

Qualifications for the job:

ServSafe food handling certification is preferred.

Pro Shop Attendant

General Job Description:

The Pro Shop attendant will be knowledgeable of all things related to the Pro Shop, Golf Course tee times, and Toptracer bay check-in.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

Must be in clean, neat uniform, and wear visible name tag at all times.

Stock Pro Shop cooler with Beverages and snacks at beginning of shift
Provides excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience and efficient service, recognizing regular customers and members
Ensures proper POS entry of customers, gathering appropriate information and entering information (customer name, phone # and email address)
Answering the phone in a timely manner with etiquette. Responsible to carry a phone with you at all times as the Pro Shop Attendant is the 1st priority in answering the phones
Properly checks in golfers, ensuring rounds are appropriately recorded and all rentals, other services and products are appropriately captured and ready for use (carts, push carts, rental clubs are readily available and clean.)
Ensure carts are clean of all garbage from previous use and ready for upcoming tee times
Carts are staged behind No. 1 tee so patrons don’t have to search for their cart
Supports the set up and organization of the golf services aspects of tournaments, leagues and special events
Deals efficiently, in a positive manor, with customer concerns, identifying opportunities to recover customer satisfaction and loyalty, escalating issues to the on-duty supervisor and/or General Manager where resolution cannot be achieved
Understands golf course etiquette and use of golf course equipment
Ensures accurate entering of orders, sales, discounts, proper cash management and completes daily cash balancing
Ensures the cleanliness of the Pro Shop, rental equipment, stock rooms, and public areas, ensuring all appropriate health and safety regulations are met
Ensures proper opening and closing procedures are completed, including responsibility for ensuring proper opening and lock up of the facility;
Follows inventory management and controls policies, including point of sale (POS) accuracy, proper rotation of products, completing accurate physical inventory counts, and demonstrating proper care, control and handling of golf club assets and inventory;
Answers general questions about overall golf club operations, where unable to answer questions, directs customer to appropriate contact

Minor Duties/Responsibilities:

Beverage Cart Attendant

General Job Description:

Responsible for proper operation and handling of the beverage cart to ensure professional, prompt, and friendly food and beverage service to players on the course.

Must be in clean, neat uniform and able to present yourself to members and guests in a professional manner.
Ensure all members and guests receive professional, prompt, and friendly service throughout their round of golf.
Perform daily opening and closing inventory. Inventory sheets must be dated, signed, and turned in with closing paperwork.
Stock beverage cart with beverage and snacks at the beginning of the shift.
At the end of the shift return all products to the cooler or rightful place.
Check expiration dates on food and beverage products in the cooler.
Rotate and organize products. Inform supervisor when inventory levels are getting low.
Must have knowledge of proper operation of the beverage cart.
Ensure beverage cart is cleaned at the beginning and end of every shift.
Must have knowledge of proper golf course etiquette and how to appropriately traverse the golf course.

Minor Duties/Responsibilities:
